Post to Year of Languages Bulletin Board Supporting the Effort YOL Board Home   Post   Search School District : Virigina Beach City Public School System Job Connections In conjunction with the YOL March focus “Connecting Languages to Other Areas” and “Job Opportunities,” the Legal Studies Academy of First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia has teamed up with the Foreign Languages department to help students utilize skills they have acquired throughout their high school career. The Academy is focused on placing students in summer internships where their understanding of different cultures and their knowledge of other languages are useful. The Academy plans to partner with the international translators aiding ongoing legal proceedings to allow students the opportunity to job shadow within this field.
